Application Process Explained
Students will go through an application and interview process and will be matched to individual nonprofits by their areas of interest, skills and career goals.
Once a student has been selected and a match has been made, the student and organization will meet to confirm the placement. Either party can request a change in match, although we will try our best to accommodate all requests a second placement and/or match is not guaranteed.
Feedback from established programs at other schools suggest that two to three students per nonprofit organization is an ideal number, since it enables students to collaborate and hold each other accountable for meeting attendance and project completion. However, in the early years of this program, we will continue to monitor this number to determine if more/fewer students would better fit the needs of the nonprofit.
Please see the application and program timeline here.
